The "Old Love" was released as one half of the "Beginning Moments Pack (BMP)," which referenced Michael Jordan's two great passions: basketball (Old Love) and motorsport (New Love). This model features the classic Black Toe color blocking, which is a mid-top rendition of the iconic 1985 colorway. The shoe uses a leather upper with a White base on the side panels and toe box, Black overlays around the forefoot and Swoosh, and pops of Varsity Red on the heel and ankle collar. Unlike the original "Black Toe" Air Jordan 1 High, this 2007 retro featured a medium-cut silhouette and utilized Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel instead of the traditional "Nike Air" and "Wings" logo.
