The Air Jordan 3 Retro 'True Blue' (2009) is a retro of one of the original four Air Jordan 3 colorways from 1988. This particular 2009 release was notable because it was a limited edition released exclusively in international markets, primarily in Europe and Asia, and was not a US release. The shoe features a classic White tumbled leather upper with Cement Grey elephant print on the toe and heel. True Blue accents are found on the midsole, collar lining, and lower eyelets. A small amount of Red is used for the Jumpman logo on the tongue. Like the 2001 and 2003 retros, this 2009 version featured the Jumpman logo on the heel tab instead of the original 'Nike Air' branding.
