This sneaker is a vibrant tribute to the Mexican holiday Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). The design is inspired by the traditional candles and Cempasúchil (Mexican Marigold) flowers used on the ofrendas. It features a mixed-material upper with Rattan (beige) leather and suede overlays. The shoe has a prominent Kumquat/Starfish orange color on the ankle collar and the intricately stitched Swoosh, which is patterned to resemble the marigold flower. A colorful, cross-hatched pattern is found on the collar, and a monarch butterfly logo (believed to carry the souls of the deceased) is embossed on the heel.
