The sneaker is a true-to-form recreation of the original 1985 Air Jordan 1 silhouette, featuring the taller ankle height and original shape of the '85 model. It uses a clean two-tone color block of Varsity Red and white, similar to the iconic 'Chicago' colorway but without the black Swoosh or ankle collar. The upper is all leather, with a white base on the side panels and toe box, and red overlays on the toe guard, eyestays, ankle flap, and heel. Black accents are used sparingly, notably on the laces and the Wings logo stamped on the lateral collar. It features the authentic 'Nike Air' branding on the nylon tongue tag and was released as part of a pack celebrating Michael Jordan's entry into the NBA.
