This specific shoe was part of the 2017 Defining Moments Pack, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of Michael Jordan's final championship in 1998. It takes the original "Last Shot" colorway (black/red) and updates it with prominent Metallic Gold accents to symbolize the championship. The black leather and durabuck upper is contrasted by gold on the midfoot plate and branding. Varsity Red accents appear on the heel and tongue. The customary "23" on the heel is replaced with "98," the year of Jordan's last title. The shoe was paired with the Air Jordan 13 Retro (in white/gold) to complete the pack.
