The green and yellow Nike Mercurial Vapor 11 CR7 football boots mark the third chapter and follow up on 'Savage Beauty' and 'Natural Diamond'. They are named 'Discovery'. Boasting a half-and-half design, the boots are split between dark green on the outside and Volt on the inside. A subtle reflective pattern is worked into the upper and laces of the boots, while the sole plate is white with garish yellow accents. Volt Mercurial and Nike brandings on the outside and a silver CR7 logo on the inside complete the design of the cleats - alongside a '06-08-03' writing on the heel, the date of the match between Sporting and Manchester United where he sealed his transfer to the Red Devils shortly after. On top of that, the sockliner of the cleats shows an aerial view of Sporting Lisbon's Estádio José Alvalade, where Cristiano Ronaldo made his first steps in professional football.
