The Air Jordan 6 Retro "Doernbecher" (2019) was designed by cancer patient Jordan Dark for the 15th anniversary of the Nike x Doernbecher Freestyle collection. The shoe features a Midnight Navy suede upper with debossed stripe graphics and encircled date logos representing the start and end dates of his chemotherapy treatment. Varsity Red accents appear on the midsole and heel pull tab, while Metallic Gold details on the Jumpman branding and lacelocks provide a premium touch. The design also incorporates a subtle "racing number" on the heel, and the look is completed with an icy, translucent outsole that complements the deep blue suede.
