This is the toddler version of the famous Air Max 1/97, a hybrid model combining the upper of the Air Max 97 with the sole unit of the Air Max 1. The upper is constructed entirely from multicolored, vertically-striped corduroy in a mix of bright colors and earth tones, including shades of light blue, yellow, green, pink, and grey. It features a visible Air Max 1 unit and the corduroy material is designed to fray and age beautifully, which was a key feature of the full-size shoe designed by Sean Wotherspoon, the winner of the 2017 Vote Forward contest.
