This sneaker is the 2004 retro low-top version of the iconic "Taxi" colorway, a design inspired by the Japanese flag's rising sun. The shoe features a premium white tumbled leather upper, contrasting with the black basketball-textured mudguard. The "Taxi" yellow accents appear on the carbon fiber shank plate visible on the outsole and on the "Jumpman" branding on the heel tab. The shoe's most distinct feature is the metallic gold eyelets at the top of the eyestay, which, along with the color palette, gives the shoe its famous nickname, tying back to the original 1996 high-top release.
