The Air Jordan 3 Retro Doernbecher (2013) was designed by patient Cole Johanson for the Doernbecher Freestyle collection. The shoe features a vibrant Varsity Red leather upper with a glossy finish. A distinctive diamond-pattern overlay, which subtly spells out "COLE" within the pattern, replaces the traditional elephant print. Black accents are used on the midsole and the elephant print overlays, drawing inspiration from the iconic 'Bred' colorway. Metallic Silver detailing is found on the Jumpman logos. Unique to this release, the insoles feature the words "COURAGE" and "STR3NGTH" and the pull tabs reveal graphic designs of Cole's favorite foods: spaghetti and chocolate, adding a highly personal touch to this charity sneaker.
