This is the Air Jordan 8 from the 2014 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, designed by patient Caden Lampert, who was battling a life-threatening autoimmune disease. The shoe features a vibrant Hyper Blue speckled suede upper with contrasting accents of Electro Orange and Black. Personal details are prominent throughout the design: the word "Brave" is placed on the ankle, "Believe" is on the cross-strap, and "Rock on" is on the side. The shoe also includes Caden's jersey number #14 on the cross-strap and a cobra graphic on the right tongue, all symbolizing his battle and love for basketball.
