The sneaker features a seamless, one-piece Foamposite shell upper in Varsity Purple, which has an unmistakable iridescent or 'chameleon' finish that shifts colors, catching the light with hues of purple, blue, and green. The rest of the shoe, including the nubuck leather eyestay and mesh tongue, is constructed in Black. Branding includes the signature Penny Hardaway "1 Cent" logo on the heel and outsole. The shoe sits atop a translucent icy rubber outsole and features a full-length Zoom Air unit for cushioning. This 2009 release is one of the most celebrated retros of the original 1997 silhouette.
