This sneaker is a three-way collaboration that celebrates the relationship between Union LA founder Chris Gibbs and Bephies Beauty Supply founder Beth Birkett (Chris's wife). The design is rooted in the "Summer of '96," the year they met. The colorway uses a vintage palette of Sail and Muslin on the leather upper, which is immediately distinguished by a unique woven pattern that wraps around the collar and mid-panel, reminiscent of the Nike Footscape Woven. It features contrasting stitching in Kinetic Green along the stitching of the midsole and ankle collar, a nod to the Air Jordan 7. The classic Union "UN/LA" tag is found in University Gold on the ankle flap, and the overall aged look is enhanced by Pale Vanilla tones on the midsole.
