This is the extremely limited, individually numbered version of the 'Homage to Home' release, with only 2,300 pairs released exclusively in Chicago (the 312 area code is referenced in one of the alternate names). The sneaker uniquely combines the two original and most famous Air Jordan 1 colorways: the 'Banned' (or 'Bred') and the 'Chicago'. The upper is split down the middle: the lateral (outer) side is mostly covered in the Black and Red of the 'Banned' colorway, while the medial (inner) side features the White and Red of the 'Chicago' colorway, connected by a distinct vertical seam. The shoe features the original 'Nike Air' branding on the tongue tag and a white midsole with a red outsole. The exclusivity is highlighted by the internal numbering on the lining of the heel.
