This is the original (OG) 1997 release of the Air Jordan 12 in the "Obsidian" colorway. The shoe features a rich, dark blue (Obsidian) tumbled leather on the upper, contrasted by a white textured leather mudguard that wraps around the toe and side panels. Hits of French Blue are strategically placed on the heel tab, the Jumpman logo near the toe, and the carbon fiber plate visible on the outsole. This was a non-Chicago Bulls colorway from the shoe's debut year. The design is famously inspired by the Japanese Rising Sun flag.
