This high-top retro sneaker from the Jordan Brand features a bold colorway, known as "Bred," that combines Black and Varsity Red. The shoe's futuristic design, inspired by the X-15 fighter jet, is constructed with a black leather mudguard and a unique, woven Kevlar aramid fiber material forming the majority of the upper. The shoe is entirely Black, with accents of Varsity Red appearing on the rubber outsole and the Jumpman logo on the ankle/heel. Its most distinctive feature is the tongue, which protrudes outward, inspired by Michael Jordan sticking out his tongue while playing. This shoe was released as part of the limited Countdown Pack, paired with an Air Jordan 8.
