The Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Paris Saint-Germain' (AV9175-001) marked the first major sneaker collaboration between the Jordan Brand and a football (soccer) club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The shoe features an all-black nubuck upper with Challenge Red accents on the midsole's signature 'shark teeth' and the Jumpman logo on the tongue. Unique details include the Parisian zip code '75' embroidered on the lateral heel, replacing the traditional '23'. The translucent netting on the side panels is modified to feature 'Paris' text underneath. The PSG crest is stamped on the heel, and the club's slogan, "ICI C'EST PARIS" (Here is Paris), is printed on the insole.
