The Air Jordan 10 Retro OG "Steel" is a faithful re-release of the original 1994 colorway, notable for being one of the sneakers Michael Jordan wore during his brief return to basketball while playing for the minor league baseball team, the Birmingham Barons. The upper is constructed primarily of White tumbled leather, contrasted with Black on the collar, eyestay, and tongue. The standout feature is the Light Steel Grey and black checkerboard webbing around the laces and collar, which provides the shoe's "Steel" moniker. The most distinctive part of the AJ10, the striped rubber outsole, lists Michael Jordan's career milestones up to 1994 and features a Dark Powder Blue Jumpman logo, staying true to its original OG form. This 2025 Retro also brings back the original leather toe cap overlay detail that was present on the 1994 release but removed on the 2013 Retro.
