This sneaker is the 2013 Retro version of a colorway originally worn by Michael Jordan in 1997 and famously featured on-screen by Denzel Washington's character, Jake Shuttlesworth, in Spike Lee's 1998 film, He Got Game. The design is inspired by the paw of a black panther, featuring a Black leather toe and suede heel panel, and a White tumbled leather upper with dimpled side panels. True Red is used on the outsole and Jumpman logo on the tongue. The shoe's most distinctive feature is the holographic "cat-eye" emblem on the lateral heel, which shows a Jumpman logo and the number "23".
