The Air Jordan 3 Retro 'True Blue' (2001) was the very first retro of the classic "True Blue" colorway, originally released in 1988. It features a predominantly White tumbled leather upper. The shoe is characterized by its signature Cement Grey elephant print on the toe and heel. The defining True Blue color accents the midsole, collar lining, and lower eyelets, while a Fire Red Jumpman logo is placed on the tongue. This release was also the first time an original Air Jordan 3 colorway featured the Jumpman logo on the heel tab instead of the original 'Nike Air' branding, a feature that was common in later retro releases of the model. Note that the SKU 136064-141 was also used for the 2009 international-exclusive retro, but the 2001 release is the original for this specific SKU without an added year designation.
