The CLOT x Air Jordan 5 Retro Low 'Jade' is a collaboration inspired by the enduring Chinese appreciation for jade stone, which symbolizes beauty, protection, and perseverance. The shoe features a black textile upper with a satin sheen and semi-translucent netted side panels and outsoles, which glow in the dark. 'Classic Jade' green accents are used on the lace locks and the glow-in-the-dark outsole. 'Fire Red' highlights the liner and the Jumpman logo on the reflective tongue. The most unique feature is the stylized 'sūzhōu mǎzi' (Suzhou numerals, a traditional Chinese numbering system) embroidered on the heel in place of Michael Jordan's number 23, along with removable jade-colored bead lace accessories, tying the design to traditional Chinese jade ornaments.
