This Air Jordan 2 was designed by 15-year-old Sheridan Brenton, a patient at the Doernbecher Children's Hospital, as part of the annual Nike/Jordan Brand Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. The design is inspired by the vibrant colors of a peacock, which is a symbol of strength and self-confidence. The sneaker features a primarily Black upper with intricate, metallic Pro Gold accents, reminiscent of peacock feathers. It includes a shimmering effect on the heel panel and the faux-lizard skin mid-panel. The accents of Lucky Green are found on the lining and the outsole, completing the colorful, ornate look. The design features a hidden message on the inner tongue.
