This sneaker is the 2018 edition of the collaboration between Nike and Sony PlayStation, inspired by the design of the PS4 console. It features a black-based upper combining smooth matte leather and glossy patent leather overlays. The standout features are the holographic, lenticular, or "jelly" Swoosh on the sides, which incorporates the PlayStation's iconic "sacred symbols" (circle, X, square, and triangle), and a translucent outsole where the same symbols are visible underneath. The heel tabs are mismatched, featuring the "PS" logo on one shoe and the four controller symbols on the other, both set against a blue-to-white gradient. This release was highly limited, initially dropping exclusively via the Nike SNKRS app in the Los Angeles area during the E3 gaming convention.
